In Loving Memory
Dinara Chochunbaeva (1959 - 2025)
We were very saddened to hear of the sudden loss of our friend and colleague, Dinara Chochunbaeva.
Dinara played a significant role in the safeguarding and promotion of traditional crafts of Central Asia and was an inspiration to so many.
She was a shining light, an extraordinary woman whose warmth, wisdom, and creativity touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a source of inspiration, admired not only for her talents and achievements, but for her generous spirit and unwavering dedication.
All of her friends within the WCC-APR have many happy memories of Dinara to cherish, and we send our deepest condolences and sympathies to Dinara’s family at this difficult time.
