Inacraft 2025 - Youthpreneurs

1-5 October 2025, Jakarta International Convention Centre

Such is the power of the hand made in Indonesia, that there is space for two major craft events in one year in Jakarta. Presented by the Association of Exporters & Producers of Indonesia Handicraft (ASEPHI), October’s event focused on ‘Youthpreneurs’ giving opportunities for younger artisans and producers to enter the market.

This year Inacraft added an award for those younger artisans, designers and producers who have taken the brave step of carrying culture and bringing new methodologies to old systems. Finalists in the awards demonstrated a deep interest in mitigating the effects of climate change, developing new techniques for efficient processes that limit damage to environments, and bringing a fresh eye to design solutions.

Metaflora’s exquisite indigo designs utilising digital design skills @metaflora___; Serat Daun Doyo from Kalimantan demonstrated a deep understanding of the traditional processes of creating Ulap Doyo @ulapdoyo_kaltim; Prajan Eco showed a wonderful series of botanical eco prints and clean, timeless designs @prajaneco.

Fatah Syaifurrohman’s @shibirufat Shibiru brand was awarded the top prize with a truly thoughtful all-encompassing approach to waste reduction in the indigo processes.

Enormous congratulations to Baby Jurmawati and her team for producing yet another outstanding Inacraft. And special note for Yanna Diah for her initiative in the go green program as well as finding time for her own Jewellery and metalcraft stall.
