The inaugural 2025 Jingdezhen Prize is launched to enhance Jingdezhen's international presence. The event aims to create a high-level platform for the global exchange and cooperation in ceramic innovation, engaging artists, collectors, designers, museums, and art lovers worldwide. This event not only pays homage to ceramic art creations and the heritage of ceramic crafts, but also promotes the future development of handicraft art.
The Jingdezhen Prize is dedicated to recognising outstanding works that blend artistic vision with innovative spirit, preserve exquisite ceramic crafts, and demonstrate unique creative language. It encourages creators to reinterpret ceramic art traditions through a contemporary lens and promotes the integration of ceramic crafts into a cross-cultural context for more breakthroughs, highlighting the important role of ceramic art in today's cultural landscape.
The award exhibition is open to individuals and groups (excluding commercial entities) aged 18 or above, regardless of nationality. Group entries are limited to a maximum of five members. Each candidate may submit only one artwork or one series of artworks.
