World Eco-Fiber & Textile (WEFT) Forum was first started in September 1999 in Kuching, and since then it has been a biennial event.
This forum strives to promote, share and acquire knowledge of natural fibers and dyes, to encourage and coordinate research and studies into traditional fiber crafts, and to create networks and foster cultural exchange.
The rich schedule at this year’s WEFT Forum includes an international exhibition & bazaar, forums and workshops, as well as a gala dinner and fashion show. There are additional tours to weaving and craft centers and places of interest in Kuching and Sarawak with limited places available.
