Full membership of the Council is available to a National Entity Member. The primary aim of the members is to encourage the crafts and adopt the principles of the Council. In the judgement of the Executive Board, the National Entity Member should carry out its obligations to the Council. A new member entity may be admitted as a National Entity, only when acceptable to the World Crafts Council Asia Pacific Regional Organization.

Only one National Entity Member from any country may be a member of the Council with full voting privileges.

The term "National Entity" means the group, partnership, corporation, association, foundation, an NGO, or other organisation within a country or a government office, ministry or agency within a country which best represents the crafts of such country in the context of World Crafts Council Asia Pacific activities.
